Savva Kerdemelidis is a commercial/IP legal adviser with 10+ years experience working as legal counsel for various international technology companies in the UK, EU, US, NZ and AU, and in private practice. He is the founder/director of the “virtual” law firms EULAW Online and NZ Law Online. He has an LLM (1:1 Hons) and a BSc (2:1 Hons, Animal Physiology), from the University of Canterbury and is admitted to practice law in New Zealand and Australia. His 2014 thesis analysed gaps in the patent and regulatory system for incentivising commercialisation of medical therapies. Savva’s main academic interests are in AI, big data, neuroscience, healthcare/biotech, and pharmaceutical regulation.
